Options Out
Think about additions and deletions. This is a high priority for school lunches... kids may like a chicken salad roll, but without the tomato, and they want to specify that to you.
Options In:
Are you going let customers specify “no tomato” on the salad roll, for example? The online menu can display all of the toppings and you can choose whether to make these available for ‘deleting’ from an order. (You can do this by listing those options on the OptionsIn column in the menu spreadsheet. They are called OptionsIn because they are IN the meal by default, but they can be removed (optional)).
Options Out:
Are you going to offer dressing or other ‘extra’ options, eg. a salad that comes without dressing, but you can add some if you’d like. (You can do this by listing those options in the OptionsOut column in the menu spreadsheet.
They are called OptionsOut because they are optional items that are NOT included (Out) by default.)
At this stage, there is no pricing adjustment for adding or removing individual options.
