ezlunch healthy school lunch ordering system challenges the status quo

Back in 2008, concerned Auckland Mum Sandra Finlay, came up with a plan to make a difference.

With a strong focus on nutrition for education, she wanted to ensure good food was available at school and easily accessible for families.

Working with local café’s and caterers to provide online school lunch delivery, meant quality kids food could be offered, without ‘shelf life’ ingredients, that was better for learning… and school families could easily support local business to create income in their quiet period of the day.

Software that enabled a school lunch online ordering system without cash and envelopes saved time at schools and for caterers, and improved accuracy immediately.

ezlunch became the first nutrition-focussed online school lunch service in NZ in 2010 and continues to grow, now offered through the company’s myKindo phone apps and website.

ezlunch is offered as a standalone service, or as part of the school’s Kindo shop, while Kindo continue to support student wellbeing in ever increasing ways… through fundraising, efficiencies giving back time to schools and families, working with caterers on our environmental packaging goals and more.
